Totally need to vent for a second. Here seems like the perfect place. I HATE the quality in people when they dont live up to there word. Dont sit there and tell me youre sorry and youre gonna try and then go and do the completely opposite. Im not up for that game. So Im sorry this is where I draw the line. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I wont let you fool me a third time.

Graduating High School. Its time to step into the real world now.  Im no longer that little girl I once was.  Ive discovered recently that this right now is my life and I am the only one who has say in how it goes. Ive learned my responsibilites and also the perks of growing up. My life has changed so much in the last month since graduation and its only just beginning.

My Brother. Growing up with an autistic brother you learn so many things about life. He taught me that the little things in life should be appreciated, there is nothing you cant overcome, and no matter what this life is your life and to live it for you. He puts the biggest smile on my face and hes the reason I keep on going. I love him to the moon all the way back down to the dirt. He showed me that all you need is to be happy and life is just fine. Hes overcome so much. Im so proud of him. Hes my inspiration.

Kel Key, my twin. He is by far the most amazing person anyone could ever meet. He gets me, he understands my moods, what I really mean when I say "fine", and is completely understanding. Hes the person you could call at 3 am and know that theyd pick up the phone for you. Hes my other half and he is the best best friend I have ever had. Life without him would be pointless. I mean who is gonna scare off every guy I talk to by saying he has a shovel and no one will miss them? Exactly true best friendness right there. Ashley Spears...Now this ladies and gentlemen is what you call a true best friend. I love her more than life and she has been there the last 4 going on 5 craziest years of my life. Shes picked me up when I thought I couldnt get back up and we have done some of the most ridiculous things together. I dont know where Id be with out her.

Doing Ms. Panache this year was probably one of the best experiences of my life. I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone. But I made so many great friends and it was for a wonderful cause. The girls there helped me grow as a person. Looking back I would love to do it again. These ladies are truly beautiful and wonderful. Being crowned Miss Hope 2011 was by far my favorite memory. The hardest thing to me seems to be giving up on something or someone when its everything you've wanted. Especially knowing that that person is someone who made you incredibly happy. People are people and sometimes it doesnt work out but that doesnt make it any easier. Sometimes it just ends with no clear reasoning why it did. Awkward situations come about and then soon its just too weird to be around each other. Then communication completely stops and you feel like an idiot hoping that somehow someway itll pick back up when in reality the chances of that happening are slim to none. Putting your heart on the line is hard. You set yourself up for so many things when you do. But in situations like these I guess you should look at is as grateful that it happened instead of never having the chance to experience it. But that doesnt really help much either. Picking yourself up after all of that confusion and hurt is probably the biggest act of inner strength. Its not easy but you can either let it break you or learn a lesson and get stronger from it. If people are meant to be in your life Im sure theyll find a way to get back in it. My personal problem is being too guarded. I can never let down my walls I have up because Im simply too terrified of being vulnerable. But I had a friend tell me once that if you live like that then youll never know what youre missing out on. So thats my new personal goal, taking risks. Life is full of them.

I woke up to the most upsetting text message this morning. Jim Tressel resigned from the Ohio State Buckeyes today! Im a HUGE OSU fan and this was totally upsetting. There are talks of putting Urban Myers in his position. One word NO! Thats like asking Lloyd Carr to be OSU's new coach. Sacrilegious!

Anyways, today is Memorial day. Im proud to represent an all military family. Today I remember those who serve, those who have served, and those who have given there lives for this beautiful nation. And not just today but everyday. Im a proud daughter of a Navy veteran, and proud niece to a National Guard Colonel and two Navy Veterans, a proud cousin to a once Marine now Guard, a once Air Force Pilot now Guard Pilot and an Army Captain, a proud step sister and granddaughter to an Army Solider. These men are the most important and inspiring people in my life. Military is in my blood and I wouldnt have it any other way. All of them have served terms, some more than once. Words can not express my gratitude towards them. They have shown me what true selflessness is and it is the most admirable thing I have had the pleasure of witnessing.

Today every American reflects and remembers these men and women. It is their day. Please take a moment to send your prayers to these men and women along with their families. Freedom truly isnt free and it is thanks to our Armed Forces that we have the freedom we have today. If you see a soldier thank them, if you know a soldier embrace them, and if you are a soldier- THANK YOU!

Here We Go

So I graduated high school this week and its the weirdest feeling in the world. It  still hasnt really hit me yet. Part of me realizes this is the time in my life where Im supposed to grow up and step out in the real world. The other half of me that this hasnt really hit yet is still under the impression ill go back to school in august and all the faces I usually see are going to all be there, but thats not the case.  So heres to my summer and living up the last chance I have to be with all of my friends. The simple carefree life. The last few months that I dont have to grow up and I can have wild nights to remember with my best friends. Here we go Summer 2011 (:
